CustomApps is an independent, US-based app studio that builds privacy-first mobile apps. We have 5 apps spanning finance and productivity - CustomBank, CustomNotify, CustomCrypto, CustomSubs, and CustomWorth. All of our apps are free to download on iPhone, and several are also available on Android. None of our apps require a login or account.

Are your apps really free?

Yes. All of our apps are completely free. There are no ads anywhere in any of our apps - not banner ads, not interstitial ads, not video ads. There are also no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers. We believe great apps shouldn't cost a fortune or harvest your attention to make money.

Do your apps have any ads?

No. None of our apps contain any form of advertising - no banner ads, no pop-ups, no video ads, no sponsored content. This is a permanent commitment, not a temporary launch strategy. We will never add ads to our apps. Your screen space belongs to you, not advertisers.

What platforms are your apps available on?

All of our apps are available on iPhone via the App Store. CustomBank, CustomSubs, and CustomWorth are also available (or coming soon) on Android via the Google Play Store. We're actively expanding Android availability.

Do your apps require an account to use?

No. None of our apps require you to create an account, sign in, verify an email, or provide any personal information. You download from the App Store or Google Play and start using the app immediately. There is no login screen, no onboarding form, and no registration wall. This is a core part of our privacy-first philosophy.

Our apps (CustomBank, CustomNotify, CustomCrypto, CustomSubs, CustomWorth) collect zero personal data. They store everything locally on your device and make no network calls. CustomCrypto connects to public cryptocurrency APIs for real-time prices but does not send any user data.

CustomBank, CustomNotify, CustomSubs, and CustomWorth work 100% offline with no internet connection required. CustomCrypto needs internet for real-time cryptocurrency prices but stores all portfolio data locally on your device.

Why don't your apps require a login?

We believe forcing users to create accounts is unnecessary for most mobile apps and creates privacy risk. Accounts mean servers storing your data, which means potential breaches. By eliminating accounts entirely, we eliminate that risk. Your data lives only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

No. We have never sold, shared, or monetized user data in any form. Most of our apps don't even have the technical ability to collect data because they run entirely on-device with no server communication. Privacy isn't a marketing claim for us, it's baked into the architecture.

On our homepage, apps without a Google Play link show an email signup form. Enter your Google Play email address and we'll send you a beta testing invitation when the Android version is ready. You can also email info@customapps.us directly with the app name and your Google Play email.

iOS beta testing is done through Apple's TestFlight app. Email info@customapps.us with the app you're interested in and your Apple ID email. We'll send you a TestFlight invitation. Once you accept, you can download the beta directly from the TestFlight app.

We appreciate all feedback from beta testers. You can email info@customapps.us with bug reports or suggestions, or use the built-in feedback option within TestFlight for iOS betas. Please include your device model, OS version, and steps to reproduce any issues.

First, try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store or Play Store. If the crash continues, email us at info@customapps.us with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when the crash occurred.

Can I recover my data if I delete an app?

Since our privacy-first apps store data only on your device, deleting the app will delete your data. CustomSubs includes a backup and restore feature so you can export your data before deleting. For other apps, we recommend keeping the app installed. We're working on adding local backup/restore to more apps.
